Omonoia Nafpaktos Sports Club was founded in 1984 and participated with its football team in the local football championship in the 1984-1985 seasons. It was the first sports club in Nafpaktos that became involved in more sports. A basketball team was also formed in 1984 and participated in the local championship. A chess club was created in 1986, amen volleyball team in 1987 and also a women volleyball team two years later, a table tennis team was also formed in 1986, an athletics team as well in 1990. Even a hiking club was created under the club’s umbrella. Mid-90’s was a particularly flourishing period for the club as the basketball team was participating successfully in the 3rd National Category and the table tennis team was successful in the 2nd national category and even managed to be promoted in the A2 national category. Unfortunately this flourishing period was followed by a big decline resulting in the gradual suspension of several sections of the club and even its closure. In 2003 the club reopened the volleyball department creating children and adults teams. The teams participate in local and regional tournaments but also the club organizes tournaments (beach volley, 3on3 etc.).
