Tsipouro and chestnut festival takes place in Ano Hora in mid October. During the festival tsipouro is distilled and served to the visitors along with roasted chestnuts, traditional deserts (baklava, kourabiedes, ravani, cherry, chestnut, walnut, and quince), traditional pies and goat stew.
